It may not be the fault of your fingers, the t not being next to the e. My brain often “self-completes” an intended word and instructs my fingers to type a familiar word that lurks in my subconscious; I suspect “quire” may be somewhere in your paper trail.

Thanks for catching that, Bob. (Now fixed.) I read ALL the time and make transcriptions onto my iPhone. My chubby fingers frequently hit the wrong key and, you’re absolutely right — it’s important to proofread quotations. My apologies.
