I wonder why the CEO hated it? Perhaps he or she felt threatened by your skill?

The audience awarded it polite applause, but the CEO asked me to give it again the next day to a group in Connecticut. I covered the same topics in much the same words the next day, but walked out into the audience talking and taking questions. The CEO hated it, but the audience applauded for several minutes, and I still hear from members of that audience from time to time many years later.
