I had to draft a letter to another law firm, pointing out a potentially lethal problem our title search had uncovered, and quoting the salient section of the relevant Ontario statute. Even for legislation, it was dense (and I was having to copy type). When I ran it through the shareware checking programs, I was asked to simply the offending section which the readability index gauged as Grade 32 level.
