Hi Mariya, Thanks so much for letting me know about the error. I have now fixed it. You are quite right; the word should be “her.”

Thank you for your post, it was interesting – the part about telling interesting stories from your trip and not all, that you have experienced there.
I think there is some small mistake in that part “The time she visited the Gold Souk with my boyfriend” – perhaps it should be HER boyfriend?

It’s done (well, I haven’t added the recipes yet but I’ve written all the text.) Have decided not to publish it, though. It’s going to be a gift to my kids.

The combination of travel and food was so interesting! And I want to ask about your cookbook…how’s it going?

Funnily enough the desire has NEVER struck me. Maybe it’s because I’ve been a writer for more than 40 years now, but when I travel, I like to take time OFF. I do enjoy reading travel writing, however, and I’ve read some MFK Fisher before, but not that one. Thanks for recommending it!

I have a Time-Life book titled “The Cooking of Provincial France” written by M.F.K. Fisher, in which she writes about her travels through areas of France. It’s a fascinating read because it takes it the actual experience of the travel as well as the food.
