I agree — he’s a brilliant writer. Ironic that “kreide” is the German word for “chalk/crayon.” I always enjoy it when people’s names match their occupations. I once had a math teacher named Mrs. Bracket and a sewing teacher named Mrs. Kenechtle (“connect-all”). Really!

He’s a brilliant writer and covers a bold range of topics. His piece on the “soul toupee” really slammed me… so insightful. His cartooning style is not to my taste, but I appreciate the talent. Interesting bit of trivia: “kreide” is the German word for “chalk” or “crayon”.
