I agree. I’ve long had a policy of NEVER reading non-fiction on my Kindle. Too hard to flip through and/or check the index. Also too hard to make notes. Now I’m rethinking the value of reading fiction on the kindle….

And you cannot scribble in the margins and underline the words. I know you can do this electronically but I’m talking about physically writing and notating creates pathways in the brain that typing doesn’t even touch.
