Hot topic. I read mostly for work. But in the pleasure column — on three books that I liked a lot (goodreads dot com reminds me): Underground Railroad (Whitehead), Destiny of the Republic (Millard), and Ghostwriter (Torre). I remember them all – fairly diverse range. Notable mentions for v good books: Brain on Fire (Cahalan) and Pachinko (Lee), and A Book of American Martyrs (Oates). Feet to fire favorite was Millard’s book.

I enjoy reading your emails and posts. I’m always looking for thought provoking material to rad and think deeply about. It keeps my mind active and encourages me to try new ideas or methods at work, for the benefit of all in my network. My daughter is in year 3 and we struggle to keep up with enough books for her. She loves reading. So we too, visit our library a lot, which we love to do together. Ive been reading Books by Cal Newport and love “Deep Work.” It is so powerful and thought provoking in this information saturated 24/7 world. This book has had a great impact on me and the way I’m approaching work and life.

I’ve always been an intensive reader. At this moment I’m taking a communication master program, and so I am reading a lot of books of communication. Recently I’ve read a book called ciberculture – author is Pierre Lévy, a philosopher. This book helped me to understand de post modern society we’re are living.
