Thanks, I’ve started listening to podcasts rather than watching TV. Also my wife works from home so it’s harder to plug it in the stero to listen to while I’m cleaning or something

Sure, happy to do a post on productivity. In the meantime, I can tell you that I listen to podcasts when I’m walking (except on the treadmill, when I’m working!) and when I’m cooking dinner or doing tasks around the house. Sometimes I listen to them at night before falling asleep. The only downside of podcasts is that they sometimes eat into my reading time!

How and where do you listen to podcasts? I usually listen to them while driving but I haven’t been driving much the past few years so I haven’t been listening much.

Maybe sometime you could do a blog post on productivity, I’d love to know how you get it all done

And my point is that it’s EASIER to write while walking. So there are both health benefits and productivity ones!

I’d love to see treadmill desks catch on, because sitting too long does seem to lead to back problems. I haven’t been in the same room with a treadmill desk, but if opportunity arises, I’ll ask to try. Dr. James A. Levine of the Mayo Clinic has been promoting treadmill desks for several years, and he seems to still think they are a good idea, because the title of his new book is “Get Up! Why your chair is killing you and what you can do about it.” He have been promoting exercise in other ways as well, and he published report about the “calories expended by chewing gum.” I do occasionally chew gum and write at the same time.

EO Fire, just started listening to it and am really enjoying it. It’s a small business entrepreneur focused podcast. What’s so unusual about it is his focus is not on building a million dollar business but on finding a work life balance.

I don’t know how I knew this because I’m not a particularly tech-savvy person, but when I bought my device I knew to ask about the motor and was reassured that this model could survive eight hours of continuous use a day. (Although it doesn’t get that from me because I have to go out for meetings etc.)
